BMV: Investigation tools / Medical Marijuana- what you need to know

This FREE one day training will cover two subject areas:

The morning class will be learning about the investigative tools that patrol officers have in utilizing the BMV data from LEADS. Topics included are: fraudulent document detection and identification, registration and title laws for patrol, introduction to cloned and stolen vehicle identification and investigation, and LEADS inquiries to aid in the investigation of all the above.

The afternoon portion will be the identification of THC products(Delta-8, Delta-9, Delta-10, THC-O, waxes, vapes, etc)and the ways to assist in the prosecution of these offenses. It will cover SB 57(The Hemp bill) and how it affected law enforcement and the ways in which we can still do our job as it pertains to marijuana. We also cover Medical Marijuana and the rules that govern it, that apply to cops. There will be actual training aides of THC products for demo (sight and smell), as well as the associated paraphernalia.
